my name is jamie knafel.

ABOUT ME

I am currently a student at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. I am majoring in Theater Design & Technology with a concentration in lighting design for concerts and theaters.

I grew up in southern Vermont on my families organic vegetable farm and plant nursery (Clear Brook Farm). I am a 2023 graduate of Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester, Vermont.

My Design Process

I am a college student and not a professional, however, each of my designs are created with high quality and individual care.

My design style is very ‘clean’, meaning the placement of elements on a design are organized and sharp. If I am unsure of how to create a specific element of design, I will research the process and apply it to a design. A few of the design programs I frequently utilize are Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. My videography projects use Final Cut Pro, Motion, Logic Pro and QLab. For projects requiring a fine “pen to paper” aspect, I use a Wacom Tablet.
