My name is Jamie Knafel,

I am based in Vermont and New York City and currently studying at Adelphi University, New York. I am pursuing a major in Film and Communications with a minor in Theater Design and Technology with a concentration in lighting and media design. I grew up in southern Vermont and am a graduate of Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester, Vermont.

During the school year, I am involved in film and theater as well as hold several campus jobs including work work for the Adelphi Center for Student and Community Engagement (Social Media Coordinator), Office of University Communications Marketing and Social Media (Social Media Content Creator), Campus Dinning (Advisory Board Member), Adelphi Performing Arts Center (Concert Stage Hand), Office of University Admissions (Adelphi Mascot, Tour Guide, Event Assistant & Social Media Committee Member).

Outside of class, I enjoy taking photos, reading, filming and editing, traveling and exploring and taking online classes while learning to use new design programs, and broadening my knowledge of design programs I already use.
