Kennedy Center Award & National Industry Recognition

In 2025, I received the First Place Projection Design Award from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), recognizing my work in projection design and visual storytelling for live performance. As part of this recognition, I attended the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) Annual Conference & Stage Expo in Columbus, Ohio, where I participated in master classes and educational sessions led by professionals from Disney Live Entertainment, Disney Cruise Line, and other leading organizations in entertainment and production. In 2026, I returned to the USITT Annual Conference & Stage Expo in California, continuing to expand my technical knowledge and creative perspective through industry sessions, emerging technology discussions, and collaboration with professionals in technical theater, film, and live entertainment.

Disney Live Entertainment: Experience in Event Production

In 2026, I worked with Disney Live Entertainment in California, assisting with the coordination and execution of the Disney Technical Theater Competitions. I supported event operations, competition logistics, and the overall participant experience while collaborating with Disney professionals throughout the event. My responsibilities included assisting with the setup and assisting in the operation of professional lighting and video technology, helping ensure the competition ran efficiently and successfully. This experience provided valuable insight into the precision, teamwork, and technical knowledge required to create high-quality live entertainment experiences.

Filming Guggenheim Fellow and Choreographer Liz Lerman

In 2025, I had the opportunity to join the Creative Team for a residency with internationally recognized dancer and choreographer Liz Lerman, a Jacob’s Pillow Dance Award recipient and Guggenheim Fellow, in New York. As the photographer and videographer, I documented the residency through video and photography, capturing rehearsals, performances, choreography, and the creative collaboration between Lerman and the dancers. Working alongside the Creative Team, I helped preserve the artistic process and evolution of the project while gaining insight into the development of a professional dance production. I am grateful to have contributed to a project led by an acclaimed figure in contemporary dance and to have experienced the collaboration, creativity, and dedication behind the work.
