Hello!

My name is Jamie Knafel. I am 20 years old, based in southern Vermont and New York City. I am a 2023 graduate of Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester, Vermont and currently studying at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York where I’m majoring in Theater Design and Technology with a concentration in lighting and media design.

During the school year, I am involved not only in my department but also around campus, working campus jobs that include being the Adelphi University mascot, working for the University Social Media Team, being on the University Admissions Social Media Committee, working as a Campus Tour Guide, and as a campus Event Assistant.

Outside of class, I take online classes on Skillshare, learning how to use new design programs, and broadening my knowledge of design programs I already use. I enjoy taking photos, reading, and working on concert or theater productions!
